Paglione Remodeling’s Frequently Asked Questions

1.Is your company licensed? Yes, we have a Residential Builders License issued by the State of Michigan.

2. Are you insured? Yes, we carry a commercial liability insurance policy.

3. Do you have references? Yes and we are happy to supply you with them.

4. My job is small, do I really need a licensed contractor? Yes, according to the State of Michigan, “In general, a person who contracts with a property owner to do residential construction or remodeling on a project whose total value is $600 or more, including material and labor, is required to be licensed as either a Residential Builder or a Maintenance & Alteration Contractor.”

5. How long will my project take? All projects take a different amount of time, depending on the type and amount of work, we will be happy to discuss time frame at the time of estimate.

6. I saw some tile that is perfect, can I purchase or do I have to go through your source? Yes, if you have seen something you like, by all means go ahead and get it. We have no ties to any particular supplier.

7. Will you be available to help me pick out items? Yes, we are happy to schedule a time to help you with the items that you need to pick out.

8. Who will be in my home? We don’t subcontract out our work so Ron and his helper will be the two people in your home.

9. Will there be a lot of dust? While we do everything in our power to keep the dust to a minimum, in any construction project you will have some dust.
